quick question folks, i have a Phoenix Gold ZPA 0.5 amp and 2 svc 4ohm subs, the amp specs are: 4 ohm stereo @ 12/13.8 VDC - 150/300 WRMS x 2 2 ohm stereo @ 13.8 VDC - 500 WRMS x 2 4 or 1 ohm bridged @ 13.8 VDC - 1000 WRMS x 1 Minimum Impedance 1 ohm bridged/.5 ohm stereo was wondering...

wire size please!, so 4 guage can handle 120 amps so i should be ok then Cheers J

its just a stock alternator so think it will be about 70/80 amps cheers j

just checking folks, i am doing the big 3 today using 4 guage cable and am wondering, if i am fusing the wire from the alt to the batt would using a 120amp fuse be ok or is that to big cheers J

Cheers Helotaxi, the amounty of people that have been sayin why do i need 8v for the amp had me wondering if i really do need it!! this is the set up i have just now but i do agree that it is wasted on the subs, so future plans do involve it running comps, helotaxi, i dont think i can change...

alright bud, its a Phoenix Gold ZPA 0.5 and it needs 8v to get most power from it, (according to their website and some other folks i've spoke to) and on the zpa amps there is no gains, lpf, hpf, etc Cheers J

just need to check this is right, as prev stated i have a Phoenix Gold ZPA 0.5 amp and it needs to see 8v at the amp, i have been told that as i have an epicenter then i dont need a line driver as the epicenter can produce upto 10v output, does anyone know if this is correct as the h/u alpine...

i noticed when i got the x/over it had the remains of like sticky foam on the top and bottom so looks like the prev owner had a prob as well, would i be able to use glue (any glue or is there a centain type) or would it damage the components on the circuit board Cheers J

cheers matey, yeah hoping its going to do a good job as i have spent that much on it now, what with having to get a line driver, the x/over module (had to get from german ebay) the 0 guage cable, optima battery, distribution fuse block and power cap (havent fitted that yet as not to sure it...
