This may be a dumb question... but i haven't bought my speakers and amp yet, i have a new HU and sub and mono amp. Can i still run the eclipse EQ with these or do i need to buy the components and amp first?

well not to tell any on they are wrong by me, but accorrding to JL Audio there RMS Power guide on their website says exactly what i tried to say.

haha again you are wrong.... the RMS is not an amount of how much it couuld take, it is the optimum performance zone. providing less wats than the RMS will not extract the subs full potential, not to say it still wont be great, but it wont be its best. thats why i said underpowered, not it...

WHAT???? first, i would not save that much money to afford a better amp. the W7 is only $150 more. and 100w, my current one is 800w and it is not too loud i just wanted to get a new sub that is better quality, not louder or softer...

It puts out 800w at 2ohms and 600w at 3ohms so the JL would be close to optimum as well.

The h2 is great but it is too big, the spce i have is very short in height, i need a tru ten the H2 is more like 11. I am pretty sure i am going to go with the RE XXX and Diamond Audio D5 1200.1!! :thumbsup
