    Help with box design

    65 deville. The port is vented into the cabin, the subs face the rear. There is about 48x16 open space between the rear seat and trunk to vent. I was talking with other classic car owners that have ran into the same issue and they recommended bandpass vented directly into the cabin.

    I haven't been on this forum in over a decade... Im looking for someone to help me with a box design for a classic car, preferably bandpass. It is for 2 15s. The ported box currently in the car does not perform well with the trunk lid closed. If anyone can help, it would be appreciated.

    your amp has a short my friend. had one do the same exact thing, played until half volume then shut off. you need a new amp

    buy a power inverter and take the motor from a treadmill, with the right gearing you can get her doin 35+

    sometimes b stock amps will have more problems that wont be noticed until the amp is blown...again. its a roll of the dice. if they still comewith a warranty i wouldnt see a problem in buying one.

    110 is expensive. thats a standard price in california, so i assume it would be on the higher side in other states

    arent you still going to bottleneck the electrical flow when you run one line to the amp?
