my avionixx amp makes a thumping noise on the subs whenever i turn off my system, what´s wrong?

i just got an avionixx 800.2 amp and installed it using my previous amp´s wires (power and ground) but this wires are 10ga. the amp sounds fine now but would i hear a diference if i use 4ga wire as recomended by the amp´s manual?

for powering a pair of eDK12" double 4 ohm coils. i can use the Z6000 and wire both subs at 4 ohms to the 1X600 channel, or go with the Brutus and wire both subs at 1 ohm to the monoblock amp (1X1000). which way would get better SQ results? please advise!

ok, the problem is this: i have a PPI amp that is 75W per channel, and is bridgeable for 300W at 4 ohms. my sub is an eDK12 double 4 ohm coils, so how can i get the most out of my amp? if i wire both bobins in series, i´ll get 8 ohms, and in parallel 2 ohms. how do i feed 4 ohms to my bridged amp?

my sub has two 4 ohm coils and my amp can only see a 4 ohm load, how can i wire it?

is that "better"?

in looking for some crossovers, i found some have "18db/octave" and others "24db/octave" what does this mean?

oh, and i´m mostly going for SQ (with such small space).

it´s the same if i get a double 2 ohm wired in series right?

will power it with 300W (PPI amp, bridged) and about just 1 cft. of box space. i´ve look into IDQ, eDK, JLW3v2,........ which one should i go for?

ok, i will decide between IDQ and eD "K". anyone knows where to get the best prices?

for small sealed enclosure (about .6 cft) will be powered by 250/350 W looking for SQ.

what if i seal one of the holes and just put one 12" sub? would that double the space? assuming the chambers are not separated.
