    Talk me out of it...

Wow. That'd make a serious home theatre sub... if you built a wall around it...

Mini jack for aux input to HU

With a HU that has a rear aux input, does someone sell an expansion cable with a panel mount mini jack at one end? Or do I have to fabricate my own?

    Stereos with USB in Front???

USB A, B and C simply refer to the connector style. USB A is the original large flat connector on a thumb drive, and USB C is the smaller oval connector used on mobile devices (phones etc.). The C is also unpolarized and can be inserted either side up. USB 2.0 and 3.0 refer to the electrical...

Featured What song are you listening to now?

Stevie Ray Vaughan died this day, Aug. 27, 1990 after a concert in Iowa where he had opened for Eric Clapton the night before. Clapton said, "There was no one better on the planet. I was embarrassed having to follow him". This rendition of Voodoo Chile is a masterpiece -

    Has anyone put a 15 inch sub in a 2021 CT4 Caddy?

Not familiar with the CT4 (I have a DTS) but you likely have a sub in your rear deck. Not going to fit a 15 in there... Got room in the trunk for a box?

    Replacement for Boston G3 10

I'm looking to possibly replace my B.A. G3, that's about 10 years old now. The G3 was Boston's flagship SQ sub back in the day and I'd like to keep similar or better performance. 10 inch, 4 ohms. I have about 400 watts available. 0.5 cu. ft. sealed (12"x 12" x6" internal). 3/4" Birch ply with...

    Alt for 13,000 watts

It's also worthy to note that 13 KW translates to about 17 HP worth of mechanical power to drive those alternators

Man i've been away a LOONG TIME

Yup. I can't believe I've been a member here for over 20 years lol. The bad news is I'm too old and feeble to do much physical installing nowadays. The good news is that I have the money to pay someone else to do it for me :D Of course, my EE degree still sometimes gets me in trouble. Such is life.
