Yea they were pretty bad. I sanded them even and all seems to be ok. I am not much of a carpenter.

I think it sounds pretty good. I have never had a 10" before so it doesnt seem really loud which is ok since i dont like bass that rattles everything. I will probaby recarpet it after i finish the amp rack.

thank you for your HELPFULL response n2audio. If i cut the wires coming into the amp how do i check if i need a loc or just the RCA's? I have a multimeter i just dont know what i need to set it to and what kind of a signal i need to look for. thanks!

I have an 07 civic which has a built in amplifier that powers factory components in the front. Coming from the factory amp there are seperate wires that goto the tweeter and the mid. If i want to install a LOC for a set of aftermarket components can i just tap the mid for my aftermarket...

I have a rockford punch 500a2. Turns on but doesnt get a signal out to the speaker.

Also is the SQ better on the w6v2 vs w6ae? Or is it mainly just the loudness. The v2 would get much more expensive since i would definetly have to step up to the 500/1

Do you think the jl 250/1 is enough for the w6? It looks like the rms is 300 on the w6. Would the 500/1 be alot better? Any comments on the cleansweep vs loc?

thanks for the offer but i just want a single 12" sub. I had 2 w3's and a jl 500/1 but gave them to my brother thinking i wasnt going to do any more car stereo stuff. Two 12's was too much bass for me....kickin myself now.
