ok if I have a mono amp that puts out 350 watts rms @ 2 ohms and I am runing 2 single 4 ohm subs do they each get 350 or 175

dual 2 ohms means that each sub can run at 4 or 1 ohm run each at 4 ohms then they will put a 2 ohm load on the amp most mono amps can handle 2 ohms or less

1000 watts RMS to a type R is bad they handle 500 rms

the amp was from one of my friends because he owed me $50 so I did not spend a lot of money on it

I just picked up a Kenwood KAC-9152D mono amp so I have a little more power now I can do up 900 wattsX2 at 4 ohms with dual mono drive so my dubs wont handle it

i would go with a Kicker Solo-Baric L7 I know people on here say they are no good but they are the loudest 8 in subs I have herd

it will most likley sound like shit that amp puts out 125 rms to each sub when bridged to 2 channels the subs handle 250 rms each look at a Profile HA700M you would be a lot happyer it will push 350 rms to each sub but you can turn down the gain and you can use the amp if you ever upgrade to...

yes you can put them in a box from my expercence they will sound better in a box

I would go with the pioneers from wal-mart the 4X6s and the 6x9s the sonys have more bass but the pioneers sound beter all around

I would put a some Infinity Reference 6810cs componets up front and some Infinity Kappa 692.7i in the rear that way you can use your exsiting holes
