I have reason to believe that I did not properly ground my amp. I used sand paper and did all that, but I used a Scosche volt tester thing, and anytime I would put it on the ground, the blue light didn't show.

I was just wondering how I would check the voltage on the amp. Thank you.

Before I go on, I'd like to announce that I'm an idiot. So keep that in mind... I was under my truck today, and where I put my ground, I could see the screw. It's right kinda close to the hose that runs from the gas cap to the tank. And I was wondering what I should do to the screw so water...
