6th Order C-Pillar Or Slot Ported Box?

Yes I have more room, only used that box bc I had my 15s in it and didn’t want to build a new box at the time. My max dimension I have are 49”W x 36”D ( leaves about 5” from hatch )x 35” H. I have a rear view camera mirror so back window blockage is not a concern.

6th Order C-Pillar Or Slot Ported Box?

I have 2 custom 18” Subs that are rated at 3500rms with 4” voice coils, big roll cone. I have them on a taramps md8000, 96ah lithium, dual alternator with its own 300amp alternator just for bass. Installed in a 2003 Yukon Denali. My current box came apart from either poorly built or too much...

    Free Air Subs

I can May fit 2/3 12s but it would need to have them slanted at an angle. I will either be using my taramps md3000 or md1800 I have both collecting dust.

    Free Air Subs

Sheesh a little too steep for my pockets… especially when needing 4. Is the qts and xmax the only real important ones or is their more to it?

    Free Air Subs

What are some good subs that would work in a free air/IB configuration. Or what specs would I need to look for on a subwoofer to determine if they are free...

    Alternator Voltage

Sorry it’s on a 2003 GMC Yukon Denali. I have a dual Alt set up ( bass has its own charging system). My factory replacement from autozone charges at 14.7 max that I’ve been able to see on my voltage meters. But yes they both have internal voltage regulators non ECU controlled

    Alternator Voltage

My 370A autotech engineering alt charges at 14.8/9V. Is there a way to lower charge voltage to 14.3-6 for a headway battery bank. I know you Can increase voltage with diodes wondering if something similar can be done cheaper without sending to autotech for a different voltage regulator?

    2 15s vs 4 15s

Hello, a friend of mine is looking to build a system. He was wondering what would be louder. Air space is not a problem. He will be powering them with a taramps md5000.1. Will 4 15" 1000 watt rms subs be louder than 2 15" 2000 watt rms subs. 4 15s will have more cone area but will motor force be...
