Alright. I took off the piece covering the radio. I had my deck all wired up to the wiring harness, and have the dash kit. So i unscrewed the stock radio, pulled it out, there it is plugged in. But i could not for the life of me get the plug out of the back of the radio. I didn't wanna pull...

i don't have backseats, just the two front seats, and a 3rd door, and i guess one of those little fold down seats on the side of the wall in the back. There's a fair amount of room back there tho, i'm thinking maybe i can get a single 12 box and maybe slide it in there, but i'd have to check...

yah, well, the only other thing hooked up to the amp would be the speakers, and yah, that was the next thing i tried, unhooking both the positive and negative speaker wires, and it still goes into protection

i got it a little farther today, i recharged my cap, and got it up to 14 volts. The digital read out on the amp now turns on and it reads 14, but the protection is still on, and i have a 150 amp circuit breaker, so i'm sure my fuse is good. All this talk about having a bad amp ain't doin me...

I have the audiobahn 1800D mono amp, 1800x1 at 1 ohm, but i haven't gotten it in the mail yet, and i was wondering if anybody what size power and ground inputs it has, does it only take up to 4 gauge, or can it take 1/0 gauge wire? thanks

no, they equal the right ohms, i have two 2 ohm dvc kickers with an audiobahn 1800D mono amp. It's 1200x1 at 2 ohms or 1800x1 at 1 ohm. And i wanted to get that extra 600 watts out of it by finding a way to run my two subs at 1 ohm. Otherwise im only getting like 600 watts per speaker, and...

oh alright, my bad, i thought that dual 2 ohm meant that when you added all the voice coils up it would equal 2. I didnt' know it was 2 per side
