Nope.....the IROC package was a $3,500 option in 87. It was a 5.0L V8 either thottle body or carb'd. TPI motors did not come on the RS Interesting. The only 5.7L RS Camaro's I'm aware of had the police code option.

Most 5 speeds came with either 3.08 or 3.27's. Some performance cars had 3.42s 2.73 are pretty low gears. For more info have a look at thirdgen.org

Nice ride. Have a look at ThirdGen.org Lots of good advice to help you out. For suspension upgrades (like sub frame connectors that should be the first thing you do) go to UMI Performance Inc. Just remember that the auto's came with 2.73:1 gears....unfortunately. Summit racing is your friend.

I've heard both and prefer the sound quality and clarity of the Hertz.

Yeah...I hate when that happens. Hertz does make some nice sounding stuff.

Memphis Belle or Zed if you need space.

JBL GTO1004 Built solid and easy on the pocketbook.

Just get the high QTS (for seal applications) and the cooling option. It's all you need.
