I just hooked up an amp the other day...all im powering is (2) 6x9's and (2) 5 1/4 inch door speakers. On my HU i have 3 sets of rca's and in my options on the HU there is a setting for SUB -10 - +10...well if i crank up that SUB setting my rear speakers get louder...does this mean i plugged my...

only sub i would remotely consider is a couple 10's to add that 3rd dimension as another poster mentioned....i would get soo made fun of if i came rolling through town with bumps in my trunk! people around here don't take to kindly to that kind of music that you need big subs for.

no matter what setup you have no one will be impressed except maybe other audiophiles. most people can't stand hearing someones bass booming for a mile before you can see them. having crystal clear and crisp audio with punchy bass is where it's at.
