    Inside of Sub box question

These pieces aren't not meant to affect sound, these are just to cover up the ugly gaping holes so the trunk won't look like crap. Why make the rest look nice if I have those gaping holes? That whole thing is not the sub "box", only the individual compartment for the sub. Plus if they were...

    Inside of Sub box question

So yesterday I worked on the cover panel for one of the sides. Decided to go fiberglass. I Masked off everything and then use some cotton (t-shirt) and stapled and hot glued it over the spot where I wanted it to go. Then layed some fiberglass on top of that. So here's the work so far, still...

    Filling gaps in dash?

Or mabye you could use some cardboard to make like a template or outline that way you can see exactly how much needs to be covered. You know like cut the carboard to fit the gaps and cut a hole exactly where you want the headunit to show through and then you can possibly go off that without...

It just looks like that when its not attached because you are seeing the overhanging edges for the windows which cover up the exposed wood on the main panel, also I didn't trim the sides perfect yet. The actual carpet is really flat except where the edges need to be secured by the windows.

    Inside of Sub box question

So I was in Ireland for 2 weeks so I haven't had time to finish everything in the trunk. I did get a lot done. I ordered the carpet and LEDs (million color ones they fade through all the colors) and installed them the other day. I also decided to go with a trim panel (1/8" MDF) for the carpet...

    Inside of Sub box question

Ok so here's the update. Got the second amp mounted, took a little longer because of clearance issues with the rear speaker so I had to recess it like 1" less and use some thinner mdf for a for 2 of the sides, but you can't really tell. I was putting in the thinner plexiglass for the amp windows...

    Inside of Sub box question

For now I'm just gonna use white paint, but once I get some money maybe some vinyl. As far as lights goes, I'm gonna use 3 9.5" million color LED strips from oznium.com for the inside of each compartment. If I ever get a yellowtop battery I could also make fourth compartment below for it...

Already thought about that just gotta cut the holes. The way I have it designed too is so to get the piece off that the amp is atually mounted too, you just unscrew the screws in the rear and pop it off.

    Inside of Sub box question

Yeah I went to Lowes today and picked up a 1/4" piece, its a whole lot thicker and doesn't flex unless you put a ton of pressure on it (especially with the small size of the window). Anyways, I swapped it out and also got the sub amp mounted. Now all thats left is the 4 channel amp mounting and...
