Someone is selling an MTX Blue Thunder Pro 502 for only $20 bucks here. I don't know much about these amps, specs are very hard to find. I was wondering if anyone knew the specs of this amp and if it is any good. I want it to run a pair of 6.5" components which should be around 70rms at 4ohm.

What are you trying to be cool or soemthing?

And if I don't do the big 3 or get a cap.. whats the worse that can happen?

I'm not sure how many amps my alt is.. I'm driving 90' Integra.

Hey just wondering if i'll need a capacitor for my new system. I used to have a 600W amp running 2 12" subs and that didnt give me any electrical problems. My new system i'll either be running like 800W RMS or 1000W RMS to 2 12" Type R's... Should I invest in a capacitor?

I'm thinking of purchasing a Crossfire 1000BMD amplifier. It does 1000 watts @ 1 ohm... the exact power I would like to throw towards my 2 Type R 12's. But I was told that if I run it at 1 ohm the amp would die on me soon. I dont know whether to trust this info.. because the amp IS rated to do 1...

I know there are 2ohm and 4ohm versions of the Type-R's but did they ever come in a SVC or DVC option also? I wonder because I just bought 2 Type-R's (older ones) and was jsut trying to figure out what amp I should buy for it.

Found 2 deals on these locally. Wondering which one I should get. I think the MTX handle more power than the JL's but I hear the wo-4's handle power more than they are rated for. Anyways, guys what are your oppinions on these subs. Which ones would you guys prefer?
