Well I ended up having to install them in the doors. The factory tweeter locations where way to small for those tweeters. I probably could have made them stick in there with enough glue or epoxy or something like that, way too much work and I don't think I have the skills to pull it off...

Would it be caused by the fact its getting power from the 2nd battery in the trunk? Maybe somehow its getting dirty power and its transferring to the output stage to the speaker wire outs? But yea I WILL run speaker wire outside the car and see what happens. I just cant see how the stock amp...

The amp is screwed into just a carpet covering the spare tire. No metal touching the amp at all, just carpet. And the feet on the amp are plastic, but still. Now if I pull ground on the amp the noise goes away. If I pull power or remote on the amp the noise goes away. It only makes noise if...

I am going to try this when I get time. But if it gets rid of the noise, what if it comes back after I run them IN the car? I guess that wouldn't happen though if I run them away from all other wires.

Your still having the same problem even after running new wires?? And yea mine mostly is coming from the tweeter too, its pretty high pitched. If you switch the L and R speaker outs on your amp does the noise change sides? Mine does. Just curious.

The noise is produced with or without the RCA cables even plugged in. Its the stock 'headunit', again the wires are coming from a stock amp in the trunk, and how would a fuse be the issue? Just curious?
