do you know the color of the remote power wire on the back of the stock headunit?

Whats the best wire to hook into for your remote lead to an amp on a Chevy Tahoe 2007? I hooked it into the white wire on the back of the radio (power antenna wire?) and it works, but the amp comes on and off at weird times. (While the car is not on!)) Any help?
