My buddy bought a hifonics bzr15d4 and put it in a floor standing ported box(27 9/16 x 20 1/2 x 12 9/16) HWD and i gave him my 250 sony xplod amp bridged@4-8ohms and the woofer at 8ohms. when we had the sub wired to 2ohms it cut out but didnt have the odd noise, so we figured matching the ohms...

that sounds good. i have look at sq subs before. but before i post this im apologizing but i have an old sony xplod thats 250w which is prob junk along with my pyramid 1000w i can use one of those until later

oh bummer, truth hurts lol quick question is Power Acoustik junk as well? Too many mixed reviews figured i might as well ask. What about a JBL GTO154 with a Atrend LSV ported box on a 500w amp? Ive been eyeballing this set up for a while

im not going off the max, i figured if i had 2 subs with 1000w max combined the rms would be around half which would be good an amp that is 1000 2 channel. If that doesn't sound right or isn't please correct me. im not an expert which is why i am here lol

I'm not new to car audio I'm just looking for more options and opinions and Ideas. I'm looking to buy 15in subs that have a max of 700 to 1000 watts max each and I was hoping somebody could send some brands my direction. Again I'm not new just looking for a wider variety. Thanks!
