How much money? The sub i'm using is my old kenwood, i honestly don't really care if it breaks, but id rather it not. Just want to use it till i can get a new amp for my RE.

Do i need to get a passive sub xover? I don't have money right now, if i had money i'd buy a new amp. If i don't use one will it damage any of my equipment?

Would this be possible? My mtx amp is shit the bed, so now i have no bass . To make a long story short can i use this Amp with this sub along with my components (100rms each). I was thinking i could hook them all up together, the amp can push out 400rms, so that would mean 100rms per speaker...

same thing happened to me, and look what i found stuck to a piece of metal in my engine bay Just look inside you're engine bay for any wires touching metal, the heat from metal parts can melt the wire coating.

My amp lights up but my sub doesn't play, i tried using an other sub but it still doesn't play, however i can feel the sub moving to a song, but very lightly. I replaced the fuses on my amp and checked wiring and it seems fine.

Maybe it's a scratched cd, try a ipod or a new cd. Also recheck your grounds, and wires again.

epoxy it, might look a little ghetto but its a hell of a lot cheaper then replacing the windshield.
