I have an 04 mazda3 2.3 engine. Is getting an alternator rewound expensive? I assume the car would need to be out of commission for a while, right?

Hi guys. I lights dim when I hit deep bass and have had some lights blow out. Someone suggested I do a grounding upgrade, but I was wondering if I need a capacitor. How do I know if I need one and what size I should get. Thanks!! Krs
