Well I just spent about an hour trying to google this to avoid having to make this thread, but for the life of me, I can't figure out why both RCA inputs on my Sundown SAZ-1000d are white? Does it not matter which way you hook them up? The manual is in black and white so that doesn't help me...

Yeah, my box isn't carpeted so I don't have to worry about the solder part anyway. Well, I'll try the closed-cell foam tape and using t-nuts and bolts to get this sub seated and sealed right then. Thanks everybody for the help. I'm sure I'll be back here if it doesn't work for some reason lol.

Ah, I like that idea. Then I can just drill out the newest screw holes for the t-nut instead of filling them in. Is this the method you use when doing it that way? Mounting subwoofers in a box, the right way : Mobile Electronics

I have some spare 8 gauge wire laying around, so would it be horrible to trim that down to fit into my sub and amp terminals? If I can avoid having to go out and get new wire that would be optimal, but if there's downsides to having to trim wire to fit then I don't want to do that. I don't...
