no bluff, my 85 s-15 jimmy had the two boxes from the base of the seat up to the roof and all the back to the cargo area, ported, and the sheet metal frame of the truck clothed with fiberglass to lock in the sound. The woofers that done it, is prob some you never heard of Vitual Technologies...

I have a mint condition kicker xs100 2-channel amp, puts out 1000+ amps at 4,2,1,.5 ohms, I will sell for $400.

I may consider it but i really need soem cash right now. But mephis amps are really good, they are small and people get upset by the size but tey cang et down to 1ohm and kick asss.

This is how I want to make the setup, I have the sub held by 2"-3" of MDF extendeing from the outer ring of the sub, then I have stilts holding the sub off the surface.

So MDF baffle covered with some fiberglass will do fine?
