I've the JL XR's and I like em a whole lot.

Pretty Much Anything By Bass 305, their Science Of Sound is really sweet, they give you some nice deep clean hits, or the Chemical Brothers Bass Test its got some really deep really long hits.

Thats exactly what i planned on doing...running my fronts and sub off my 300/4 and leaving the rear stock and run off the hu...however my rears are shot so i only have the fronts...it still sounds good but i deffinitly notice a difference.

sq it is for me, though like you mentioned i do occasionally bumb up the bass when i feel like rockin my diesel boy or hive...but back to what i was saying...well i will be driving people to school this year so i'll have a full car everyday, but i can myself tell the difference without my rear...

I just got a 7894 the other day, i love it. The media expander, mx, makes the mp3's sound phenomenal. Certainly a good choice for my first head unit.
