alright well if he has all 4 channel's on those comps alone then that would still make then 100watts going to them buddy. think bout it, bridged or not if he run's all 4 channel's to just those speaker's they are getting 100watts.

My vote goes for the Boston 6.5 or 6.53 components. In my opinion there are not many speakers out there that sound as good as Bostons do.

alright if you want the brightest sounding comps i've ever heard and that is on a list of prolly like 35-45 sets of comps then go with the Q series. they are very well worth the money though b/c they do have great midbass and greatly built crossovers along with the tweeter. they are just extremly bright. i'd look into

now out of those i have heard the MB's, Canton's, Kicker impulse, Jl's top end can't remember what line, Focal Utopia's and Memphis Studios. basically those are top 10 picks from me of comps that you can snag for anywhere from right under a grand, to 300ish or less. hope that give's you some options.

well i'd say that ****ing loud as you put it is very good but, feeling like your ear's are going to start bleeding with 100watts rms going to them which is what he had, not good to me. i like a more tame tweeter.

Ever looked into Morel? All I can say is do youself a favour and audition a set. Most impressive (absolutely humiliated a set of MB Quart QSDs in the midbass department).
