Thanks for the pic. So how far on the "inside" of the door did you go? Also, how would you describe the difference in sound? I wish I could do a comparison of with and without to hear the difference. If I remember right...deading is quite expensive.

Thanks guys. I talked to the place that will do the install and they said they could get the 5 1/4 to fit. That makes me feel very good because I love those speakers... I just wish the camy aimed the speakers up towards me like my Grand Prix does.
