so i went in to pick them up from the audio store and the guy kind of laughed at me when i said the dust cap thing, stating that yeah they would have done that if momo's had dust caps, but since it is a aluminum cone, the dont... so is he wrong, or am i out of a sub?

no, when he said they were broke, he said that the tinsel leads were snapped and able to be soldered back... cant solder onto the cone... not familiar w/ the dust cap process, can someone dumb that down for me?? i might as well do it, cant make it worse than what it is now...
