Also, it seems the tweeter shorted and now my front speakers on the left side do not work. The Tweeter was a factory one, but the speaker is an afetr marker speaker, with tweeter built in. Is it possible this is causing a short in my system? Could I just disconnect the tweeter?

the Kicker 04SX1250.1 amp. 1250 watts @ 2ohms. I got 2 Diamond Audio D6 12" subwoofers. 600 watts a piece and both 2ohm DVC. Would the kicker be over doing it? Or will it be a good amp to run 1200 watts cleanly to the subs?
