Hey I have an 01 jeep Grand Cherokee and they come stock with an amp. If I put aftermarket speakers in, will I have to bypass the amp or anything or can I just wire the new speakers to the amp?

Ok so basically I need to find an amp with a high wattage at 2 ohms?

What does 2 ohm and 1 ohm mean? The sub I have is a double voice coil 4 ohm so wouldnt i have to run it off of a 4 ohm amp?

What are some classy brands? I know nothing about amps so I need all the help and information I can get.

The kicker solo x 12'' is a 4 ohm double voice coil sub woofer so what Ohm amplifier would be good for that?

Does any one know what kind of Amp would be good for a Kicker solo X 12'' 5000 watts. The amp has to cost under 250$ I dont want to spend any over that. Can anyone help me out?
