I got screwed big time - I paid these people over $2k for everything they put in my truck. I was dumb & went to this place based on a recomendation by someone that only had a head unit installed by them. I should of learned after having to take it back 3 times the original installation time...

Firstly thanks for helping, No they replaced a 420 watt amp with a 600 watt amp. Then they replaced that one with another one. They kept saying it weas the Rca's because there was a hum coming from the tweeters at first. They claim they fixed the problem- I think all the did was adjust them down...

Thanks, I have a Pioneer DEH-P670MP HU. I am not sure about the tweeters brand but I believe they are made of paper. I have tried adjusting the treble and turning the loudness off and on and between low, med & high, but it's still too high. I do notice if I put my hand over the tweeters...

I just had a stereo installed which includes 2 4x6's in the dash, 2 6 1/2's in the doors, 2 4x10's in the extra cab, 2 tweeters in the doors (at approx ear level) and a 10" sub in a sealed bx in the back. This was all installed in a Chevy S-10 extended cab. I have the dash,doors & tweeters...
