Hi guys, I just got my Alpine 690a speakers in the mail, I have a 2002 ford escape, I went to Alpine's site and built my system, according to that site, they said they would fit, they were first choice, now when i go and look, it turns out they won't fit, according to other sites. Ugh...

Yeah I think I am gonna get that one i just mentioned. Should fit the purpose, Mine will collect dust as well until i get everything and get around to getting it all installed. Hopefully by middle March

I got my sets of alpine speakers for front and rear door, (alpine SPS-690A for rear and the SPS-571A Componets for the front) I have an alpine 9830 headunit, My question is, Do I want to buy an amp to power these speakers? or can i get by with just the headunit. Kinda new to all of this stuff...

I can run this for the Alpine 9830 Unit as well? I've been racking my brain the last few days messing with different settings, I just can't seem to get it to sound right.. It sounds like the high ends are muffled. Thanks for the info though, This should help me. Thanks again.
