Bridging Amp channels where one channel is blown

even though I am a noob I love car audio and learning about it. I recently did my install with sound deadening etc and it was one of the most rewarding things I have done. In the process I got an amp off ebay (sony xplod 440ex) which was 4 channel and met my needs. However turned out that the...

Help with installing components front and rear

Ok I did a little research. Seems that if I connect my amp in mono it drives 80 Watts per channel (@ 4 ohms). So considering that the minimum recommended rating is 4 ohm - if I connect my speakers in series (7 ohm each channel) would that give me roughly 40 watts per speaker? I have attached the...

Help with installing components front and rear

Thank you for your quick response. I am trying to run 4 speakers that is the problem. Would 2 in the front left and 2 in the rear left output work? I mentioned my speakers and amp above in thread. Would the amp be able to handle this? Does bridging mean just connecting them kind of in parallel...

Help with installing components front and rear

Thanks both of you for being so helpful and taking out the time. I did some research on my own to better educate myself but i feel the more I learned the more confusing it got lol. I do not have a sub so I think I will need the components to do the lifting for the low frequencies too. One thing...

Help with installing components front and rear

I cant figure out the JBL 600c diagrams. The diagrams are a little different from my speakers. Which inputs on the speaker are for the amp and which for the tweeter? It has 4 male terminals sticking out on the speaker.
