    Thanks Jeffdachief but head unit does not have settings. I'm thinking the amp is not right for the subs wired the way they are at 2ohms. Also may have screwed up amp because now I cant get higher then a 10 volt reading.

    speakers are JL Audio connections are a female spade type connection one looks to be 3/16" pos and maybe 1/8" for neg but it seems like when you go to a bigger gauge wire connectors get bigger but I will definitely check out the suggestions. Thanks

    How do you guys connect 12 gauge wires to your speakers I cant seem to find connectors that will accept 12 gauge wire. Is there somewhere online to buy them. All I see is the blue connectors I think are for16 and 18 gauge. Thanks
