So in the convert with a monsoon U59 there are 8 speakers = 4 mid ranges with tweeters YET the factory manual wiring calls out for fronts, rears, midranges and tweeter. Thats more then 8 speakers. I can understand the fronts and rears with tweeters but what are the midranges?

I have noticed in most amp instructions they wire it up to the battery. If i put mine in the trunk, does that mean it will be on all the time.

Also another problem is the rear side speakers have to be thin for clearance. The existings ones cant move the air for bass, the surround is too small and rigid.

Does anyone make a plug in amp or adaptor plugs. I dont want to cut or splice. Also should i keep the monsoon since it has the crossover.
