Yeah your right about it being a 3" vc. Also these are XLs from 2010. So they are not the M2 magnet or basket style. Same weight though...

I'd want a Dual 1 ohm, 4" coil, 8 layer and dish dust cap. Basically same specs as a DC Lab XL 15. I don't know how much money I'd save though. The recone from DC is like $175.00

Noticed last night the spider has a few gaps where it should be glued to the basket. Is there a way to remove the old glue so you can have a clean surface for regluing?

It's not wired out of phase, but I will check the lead connections. I think one of the leads connected to the terminal is suspect.

It looks like the spider is flexible after all. Not too stiff. The amp is fine though and cross checked on another sub. Looks like a need a recone.

Really could use some help figuring this out. My sub only plays when I push the cone upwards (away from the motor) Spider seems to be fine, lead tinsels etc. Again, if I physically raise the cone with my fingers it plays fine. As soon as I let it fall back to resting position it doesn't...

I found the Airlift 1000 on Ebay for$97, but they're all for older models. I have a 2003 Chevy Impala and can't seem to find an airlift for it.

I meant parallel, my bad. But what you're referring to is running a wire from the + post on one batt to + post on another batt and doing the same with the - posts like jrdnhsnbrg said. Correct?

In my old car I ran my 2 battery setup in series. Just wondering should I do it differently this time. Run one power wire from the alternator to the underhood batt and another power from the alt to the trunk batt. Pretty sure the way I had it before was the best, but just checking.

Aight man, I'm about to be running my yellow top up front and this Exide in the trunk off my stock alt which does 105 amps. Will I be okay for a while? I have a Mechman alt comin in couple weeks.
