I like the Thought of tablets! But the kids like to watch things at the same time and laugh together etc. if the tablets could have hdmi inputs to just pass the video that would be kinda cool...

I’m new at rear seat entertainment. I have 2 kids and I think for long trips video would be nice. I found voxx has a system that looks nice, but $1,400 is a bit steep. Amazon has a dual screen he system for just under $600 but I’ve never heard of the brand... aainavi. Below is a link to it...

Ok, so I'm better off with the normal roadkill, and use the savings for a roll of MLV.  does it make sense or help to put MLV in the door?  do they make self adhesive mlv, or is that more cut to fit, and glue in? My thought with the ultra roadkill was that the fabric side would absorb any sound...

I have always been into car audio, had a car that went to competition, won some awards, etc.  But didn't get far into sound deadening and making a car quiet.  my deadening was mostly done for panel rattles. Today I have kids, and my car is a family hauler traverse.  I need to keep the factory...

ok, so far here is my plan I guess. Infinity Kappa 90csx for the front doors, skip the back doors, and use that money to prep the doors roadkill to prep/treat the doors 1/4" gasket to seal the speaker to the door audiocontrol D-4.800 for the dsp... I'm thinking I like the thought of...

Nice!  I may just treat the doors then.  I wonder, if I need to, I suppose I could always do an under the seat subwoofer.  I had one once, but it didn't seem to do much... :(   I don't think anyone makes a factory looking subwoofer kit for my car..

So when you say prep the doors...  Do you mean dynomat etc? Not trying to sound dumb, it's just happening by accident lol

ugh, lots of ideologies here.  In a perfect world, I would rock out with multiple subs, custom made fiberglass enclosures, aiming the speakers directly at my face, with sound proofing, gut the factory system, and install a $2,000 head unit, etc.   Unfortunately there are constraints.  Money...
