Thanks for all of the replies and suggestions! I appreciate it. I have found the problem and what went wrong was, I wired a positive and negative to one wire that I spliced into and did the same for the other. If anyone else is having the same issue I hope this helped. Thanks again.

I recently bought a Sony Xplod 1000 watt amp with 2 1200 watt Kenwood KFC-W3013PS 12" subwoofers. I know the amp isn't even coming close to pushing them to the max so my question is, if I only use one subwoofer would there be any difference?
