does anyone know of a 10" sub with a smaller mounting depth to fit in my 2000 silverado regular cab? EVERYTHING I WANT DOESNT FIT. type-r wont fit, nor will a w6 any suggestions. Anyone heard the new elemetal designs subs?

also I poly filled the box, (maybe too much) but now it doesn't play the higher end bass notes. Its loud, low and boomy. Im gona take some poly fill (I stuffed most of the box) out I'd hate to buy a 3rd sub in a matter of 3 weeks.

hed 10.4. got it off ebay for 35 buks and I thought it was a bargain but I dont think cerwin vega is what they used to be.

I just got a 10" cerwin vega and all around its a decent sub, especially for what I paid but It seems like it's having trouble hitting the low notes, could this be because the box is too small? Should I poly fill it?

for a subwoofer, The type r goes up to 600 while the kappa ony goes to 200, does this even matter

Does higher frequency respone mean better sound quality?

I sure wouldn't but then again the kids stereo I heard was set up like crap. One of my buddies is trying to tell me they're ONE OF THE BEST for sound quality, idk about that. When I hear KICKER I think SPL.

The tit cone fell apart on me. Thanks for the heads up on the re series, I'm going to steer away from that. Besides the SE what subs out there give exceptional sound quality. It's tough because it has to fit in a truck.

Do you know about or have you heard the entry level RE series, cant be worse than my bass tube.

I have a dual. I've owned alpine, pioneer and kenwoods and dual is by far the best out there!
