Kicker has a new model for 2004, is it any better the the 2002 model?

which of these is better to run 2 Kicker Comp VR 10" 4 ohm subs Kicker KX400.1 vs Fosgate 501s

im getting the same subs, i was looking at the KX400.1 or the fosgate 501s

the subs im getting are DVC 4 ohm, but they also have DVC 2 ohm, i still dont know which ones to get, i am going to get a mono amp, thats no question, ill look into the DA but if its too much i am probably going to go with the kicker kx 400.1, but i was also looking at the rockford 501s, but its...

so 2 DVC 4 ohm cant be brought to 2 ohm, but 2 dvc 2 ohm can be 2 ohm? what i am looking to do is get subs that get to 2 ohm so i get more power out of my amp, the Comp VR by kicker come in 4 ohm and 2 ohm which should i choose to get them at 2 ohm

and what about a single voice coil 4 ohm subs, can that be brought down to 2 ohms?

I am looking to get 2 dual voice coil subs, if they are 4 ohm, are they 2 ohm stable? of should i get 2 dual voice coil subs that are 2ohms> can i get an explanation on how this works. thanks!

they make a kicker kx400.2 but i was told only get the 400.2 if you are running more then 2 subs, that running the subs mono would push them good yeah West Palm is a great town, alot to do, really good bars
