You will want at least 500 rms on a 10w7. I had an 8w7 that took 600 rms all day long with no distortion or mechanical noise

Yea the shop *****. It took 3 trips back to the shop to even get the **** thing working. They connections on the amp were shitty, the wires were not trimmed, etc. I can't find the **** loc converter. I bet they did not ground the loc.

What can I expect going from 2.1 cubes @ 34 hz to 2 cu ft at 31 or 32? Will I lose SPL?

I set my gains with a dimm. I was not running any bass boost or eq. Parametric eq was centered at 63hz.

I had it in 2.1 cu ft box tuned to 34 hz. The sq was not that great. Spl was good. I want to stay with ported, sealed just does not get loud enough for me. If I tuned the portex box down to say 30hz for the Type X would that make a difference? Compare and contrast type X to w7's? And 10w7 to 12w7?
