Yeah I turned up the gain, checked if my wiring was correct, but the sub wouldn't work, but the amp was on

I recently bought a new amp (a1750d) from soundqubed.com I have a rockfordfosgate p3 dvc 2ohm sub I wired my sub to 1ohm and connected it to the amp, but it wouldn't play. The green power button was on and all the connections were connctedted...but it would not play So then I rewired...
