one of those converters your talking about usually comes with every amplifier that you buy. i would try to stay away from replacing yourr factory HU because it sounds decent, and an aftermarket HU will stand out in your dash and not fit as seamlessly.

I know how to set the gains on my amplifier using a DMM but how do you set the low boost from 0-10 dB at 40Hz

the bass boost is all the way cranked up and the output is at 3/4 becasue the rms of the amp is even less than the sub can handle for rms. How should i set these gains again and remember its a hot day.
