Purchased a new RCA cable and it didn't help.
Perhaps I'll try requiring the entire thing, I used the pervious owners wiring.
Should I ground the ground wire from the harness directly to the head unit and then run another wire from the head unit to the chassis/body?
Installed a Pioneer head unit a week ago. Has been working fine until yesterday when I started the car it made a loud noise. Later when diagnosing the problem I realized the whine varies by engine rpm. I tried different grounds and grounding the rcas. I dot believe I grounded them right...

As for the surround separating from the cone, wouldn't that be considered a hole?
Any ideas to find the hole?
I believe there is a small hole in my new subwoofer. It makes a small noise and a distorts when I turn it up a little loud.
The hole is not visible, but when I push on the come you can hear air coming from somewhere.
How can I find the hole and how can I fix it?
This is a brand new subwoofer...

Now this morning it cooled down and I tried to turn it on. Now the RED LED light, indicating protect mode, does not come on. Nor does the power LED. However a different blue light on...
My budget is around 300$.
I can't get a better quality amp because I have to put aside ~ 40$ for a Line out Converter and wiring kit & about $50 for a decent Ported box off of amazon.
Also, what wiring kit will I need? I noticed there are different gauges, and I don't know what that means.
