How much Dynamat do you think a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo needs. Would 2 bulk kits (36 sq. feet each) be enough or should I get 3 to do the entire car? Thanks!

All the local alternator shops are telling me that the stock can only be upgraded to 90 or 100amps without modification... Is that true? If so, is it expensive or worth the money having it done?? Appreciate the help

I just bought a new Fosgate 1001 BD amp and hooked it up and I'm hearing a thump every time I turn my deck on. I had an old Fosgate 100x2 amp hooked up to my subs before this one and I never had a problem. Any ideas what it could be?? Thanks.

Thanks for the help Jmac... still having the problem though... What's odd is that the fuse blows a little after the car is running and the amp is on.. It doesn't blow when the car is on Accessory and the system is on..

That's what I did first and my fuse blew. On the amp it says that if you're using mono, you connect one RCA to the left RCA input only... and I have 2 RCAs(1pair) from the deck for the subs.

Another thing, the amp has one switch for speaker impedence which says "4ohm or 2ohm/bridged" and another switch that says "stereo-trimode-mono(bridged input)" The subs are wired in parallel and the right+ on the amp is connected + on the subs and the left- to the - on the subs... How should I...

i have 3 rf subs at 8ohm each, which is running at 2.67ohms to be exact. The kenwood amp can be bridged and run at 2ohms... well, that's what it says on the amp.. would a 5amp higher fuse be risky?? do fuses come in 35amps?? My wiring is good.. my old fosgate amp has been running for 4-5...

I hooked up a kenwood kac-923 amp to 3 fosgate 12" subs, running them at 2ohms bridged with the gained turned very low, and I blew 2 fuses. It says on the amp that it takes a 30a fuse which I tried, but I was thinking of trying a higher one if that helps... or if that would be taking a risk of...

I'm planning to cover my roof, most importantly, the floor and the door & quarter panels (i have an SUV)... It costs approx $60 (CAD -- $42 US) for a roll that covers 165 sq feet... Is dead skin or brown bread cheaper than that???
