I would build a ported box for those JBL's. I used to have a low end JBL on 180 watts in a ported box and it still sounded good.

I used flex tubing and zip ties. Just keep the wire from contacting any hot surfaces and u will be fine.

If using aero ports I think it's 9-13 sq. inches of port per cu. ft of box volume. What size is the box going to be?

sry I have no clamp meter..I agree the ONX doesn't look as beefy but the board is wider and it has higher ratings at 4 and 2 ohm. It also has those rods at the top left, I don't know what they are for but I am guessing this is a more efficient design that does more with less components.

I don't think it is very accurate. It says that my box is bigger and tuned lower than it really is. You are better off using winisd and doing the math yourself.

Just clean them up with a battery brush and apply some terminal protectant this time and they'll be good as new.
