no they arent worth $400, lol. not even close. they are definitely very loud, but you can get them cheap. try ikesound.com. also, they come in dual 2 ohm and dual 4 ohm models. both about the same price. very very loud in the right vented box, see kicker.com for specs.

it doesnt matter if the box is a perfect cube. it makes no difference. also, it doesnt matter what shape the box is just so long as there is the proper amount of airspace. also if you are building a ported box, there must be the width or diameter of the port's length between the end of the port...

that amp is only about 515 true RMS watts buddy. sorry to tell u. the new rockford amps **** ***. the 900w model is 309 true watts. it was tested in Car Audio Magazine earlier this year. id pay no more than $170 for it.

someone has already mentioned this but u should probably make sure that its not wired to 8ohms by accident. that would cause some definite absence of sound.

load is 1ohm. each sub is dual 2 ohm voice coils and i got one sub per channel. so one ohm per channel.
