    WTT: 2 Kicker CVX102s & PG RSD1200.1 for RE SX 10 w/ Amp

Takin the stereo out of the mustang and puttin it in the S10 regular cab. I could put the CVXs in there but in a sealed box but it'd be dumb when I could use 1 10 RE SX in a ported box with less room and get more output... But the thing is my RSD1200.1 would only power the RE SX10 at 775 watts...

If 2 subs share enclosure does recommended airspace double?

I was wondering, if you place two subs in one enclosure. Does the recommended air volume for the enclosure double or can two subs share the recommended airspace for one sub??

    Could a RE SX10 handle 1200watts RMS?

I'm thinking of selling my 2 Kicker CVX's and getting one RE SX10. I've got a mustang so I don't exactly have a ton of truck space to begin with. What's your take on the SX10?.... aaaannd would anyone happen to have one for sale? Thanks O yea... and I'll be pushing it with a PG RSD1200.1

Ported box too big... quick! Need .5 Cu Ft mass to place inside box!

So should I make the volume inside the port smaller to even it out?

Ported box too big... quick! Need .5 Cu Ft mass to place inside box!

I was just kidding about the coke bottle idea. Im using 2 10" Kicker CVX's. The max recomended volume for a vented enclosure is 1.75 Cu Ft. The box is 2.25 Cu Ft. If I were to add another layer of MDF to the walls. How would that differ from the box being fabricated to whatever volume that...

That sounds like a GREAT idea! But I think I'll just stick with the wood idea.

Yea... Thats what I was thinking. Just adding layers of MDF to the walls. Or maybe runing a piece along the bottom corner across the back of the box. But ******* I hate math.

Ported box too big... quick! Need .5 Cu Ft mass to place inside box!

Alright... Well I thought that the box I bought would be alright for my subs. Turns out the box is 2.25 cu ft and the max ported enclosure recomended volume is 1.75. So I need a way to take up .5 Cu Ft(or 6 cu in) inside the box. Whats the most practical way I could go about this?

    Line Output Converter Question

the voltage that the LOC puts out might be too much for the amp's input to handle. Im not exactly sure what would be the best way to fix it but play around with the gain/input sensitivity.

Will raising the voltage input mess up the x-overs?

Yea.. That's what I was gonna do. Thanks man.
