Thanks W8 ill look into that. But for now i think im just going to have to agree with you guys and take it out. Itll be a lot easier than bending or welding it and it would provide me with a lot of space to work with.

The kicks are for a 1999 dodge dakota ext cab So what should I do? Thinking about bending it but it would be tough because the lever has folds on the outside to strengthen it. Another option would be to cut it down so it can clear the kicks. The last idea I had was cut the lever and weld it back...

Alright so i already have 2 atlas 12"s in 2.0 ft^3 tuned to 32 hz each. Im runnin them off of an alpine mrd-605 at final ohm load of 2. so each sees about 300 watts. I really like the sound of this set-up but i am adding another atlas to complete the sub stage. What amp would you guys recommend...

already swapped and tested out new speakers, still distorts. I guess ill have to try another amp. But would could be possible problems with the amp?
