Alright i just got a new amp 3rd crappy one in a month. its a 800 watt 2 channel legacy red series, i know they're crap but i cant afford a better one just yet!! anyway the amp works great, it pounds my 15" orions really well but, the amp smokes, just from where the level(or gain) knob is. Now...

Ummm i dont have and rca input on my headunit and the is no hi-output plug on my amp. Is it possible 2 splice the rca's to my 6x9's or is this just a bad idea? What do I do???

why does it matter that your ground wire is as short as possible? mine runs from the trunk to just under the hood, is that alright? Where else could I put it without drilling holes?
