Is the amp turning on? I know that obvious but maybe the remote wire has a bad connection. Did you check the main inline fuse? Good grounds?

It is under setup or audio. There is a number @ the top right and a small arrow that points to the right. Tap it until you see the subwoofer control.

Thanks for the suggestions/links everyone. I'll be doing quite a bit of research as I am not in a rush to get new subwoofers. Though I am surprised at how many there are that are in a comparable price range that you guys recommend. Sounds good to me.
