4 channel amp bridged to front components..help!?

Ok so I have a PAC c2a-chy5 connected to my factory head unit so that I can get two sets of 5v low level preouts to my sub amp and 4 channel amp for front components. I have an Orion xtr pro 500.4 bridged to a 3 way cdt comp set. The problem is that I'm not sure the rca's and switches on the...

Great 3 way component sets with 3 or 3.5" midrange, high power handling

I was leaning towards the hertz but trumpet hooked me up on the cdts so I'll give a review when I get everything done next month.

Which 12s? Ported w 500 watts each in trunk

Power handling and Xmax are kinda weak on the dcon and the gcon needs too big of a box. I've looked into the orions but not really into the generic dust cap look. Learning more about the diamonds but not a lot of info out there. C2 looks nice but rather get something that already has a lot of...

Which 12s? Ported w 500 watts each in trunk

Car is a 2012 chrysler 300. Amp is an Orion xtrpro 1000d so need final ohm load to be 1 ohm. I have about 4 ft3 gross total or 1.6-1.7 ft3 ported for each 12. Want to tune the box around 30, looking for nice SQL. Not sure on box design either, thinking maybe firing and port towards cabin...

Great 3 way component sets with 3 or 3.5" midrange, high power handling

Nice but I don't have enough channels to run active, only a 65x4 amp that I'm most likely going to run at 250x2

Great 3 way component sets with 3 or 3.5" midrange, high power handling

The JLs come with a 4" mid which won't fit. The soundstreams are same as the ppi with a worse tweeter. I agree on the crossover point trumpet, I was thinking of 100 hz 24 db especially if I go sealed on subs. Pm me some quotes on the ppis and the cdts with and without the upgraded mid bass...

    Recommendations for my situation

Because I will get extra output ported? Will I lose much sq? Which direction would you fire the subs and ports? I've read the trunks in these new 300s are solid and it's hard to get bass response through the rear deck and thick back seats so thats why I was thinking of sealing off cabin.

Why, in your opinion, do I def want to go ported?

Great 3 way component sets with 3 or 3.5" midrange, high power handling

Will the ppi set handle the power I have though? I've also read the mid bass is lacking on them some but probably depends on how they're installed. How would you compare them with the cdt hd632? I feel like they would handle the power a lot better with more midbass. Does diamond audio make...

Great 3 way component sets with 3 or 3.5" midrange, high power handling

I have 250 watts x 2 to send to my front stage and I'm looking at 3 way comp sets with a smaller midrange since the factory dash location has a 3.5 and no room around it to fit a 4. I'm looking at anything in the $300-1k range from the ppi 3 ways to the hertz hsk 163, cdt hd632, and focal k2...

    Front stage recommendations

I think I must've lost you. Basically all I'm asking is whether I should run active or passive front stage with the 4 channel amp I already have. If I keep rears they will be the factory speakers ran by the factory amp, I'm not concerned about rears. Also asking for inputs on the size and...

    Front stage recommendations

I have a 2012 Chrysler 300 with the upgraded alpine oem 6 speaker system. It consists of 6x9s in the doors and rear deck and 3.5s in the dash. I am keeping the factory 8.4" screen and radio unit and adding a RF 360.3( or an AC lcq1 if I go cheap). I am using an Orion Xtrpro 500.4 for the...

New Chrysler 300: PAC c2a-chy5 or audio control lc7i etc

Is their a site where you and others have talked about it not working? I did read somewhere else about someone installing one with lots of noise but then the replacement worked fine.

New Chrysler 300: PAC c2a-chy5 or audio control lc7i etc

And could I still use the oem amp to power the rear fill while using the PAC ? Thanks

New Chrysler 300: PAC c2a-chy5 or audio control lc7i etc

That's what I thought but I've got conflicting opinions like above so just trying to make sure.... Some of these advance loc's like the audio control advertise well and make it sound like they restore the original signal.
