I'm replacing a diesel 440 watt 2 channel amp it has a 8 gauge power cord. I'm replacing with a xpr 540 dual do I use the same 8 gauge power or do I need to change because this amp is 1200 peak. I know this isn't the greatest amp but it was free and its just temp. its pushing 4 kickers 2 6.25 2...

I have a black ice 7000 watt pushing 2 jl w3 at 2 ohm the new amp is just for mids n highs ive never used ppi speakers but the amp is good so far. The kicker 4 pack seemed liked the best bang for the buck

the amp I have now is a 2 channel so the car is wired for that should I stick with a 2 channel or rewire it for a 4 channel? does it matter class d or a?
